Removing Wall Paper

I have been reading on how to remove wall paper and there are a lot of ways. I wanted to show what worked for me and it was FREE because I had everything.

Here is what the wall paper looked like

 This is what my kids did while I did this, they had a blast!

 You will need:

Squirt Bottle

Warm/Hot Water

Putty Knife

Cleaner

Paper Towel/Rag

This may not work for your wall paper but its cheap and worth trying.

First you will spray the wall paper with hot water until it is saturated, see the difference. Water will run down your walls so have that rag handy. 

 Next you use your putty knife to scrap the wall paper off. After I started a spot it would just pull off in strips. The hardest part was were someone had painted over the wall paper. 

 After about an hour my walls looked like this (the spot is not on the wall it is my camera, I need a new one!)

 After cleaning the walls, they looked like this.

 I decided to use the putty knife to chip off the paint that was peeling on the wall/ceiling. Now I just need to sand some spots and start painting, painting, and painting.
