New Camera!!!

I finally got my new camera! After about a year of trying to make our old camera work, we decided it was time for a new one. I really wanted to get a nice DSLR camera. But we like to go hiking,camping, swimming, playing in snow, and more. I would not really want to take a nice DSLR to most of these activities and hiking with a big camera would be exciting sometimes. So after much talk we decided to go with a compact camera again. But what one... 

Some friends of ours have the tough compact camera that can go anywhere (water...). We decided that we should get something like that. After researching and researching, we decided to try this guy:

Olympus Tough TG-2

I am still trying to figure out all the buttons and what settings I like. But so far we like it.

The real test will be a trip to the beach or pool. One really nice thing about this camera is that it opens all by itself, for the last year our old camera had to have some help opening and it would get pink strips on the screen so you could not take pictures for a long time. 

I really hope that next year I can finally get my DSLR but we will see.

So far we are loving the camera. All pictures show above are not edited, straight from the camera, pretty good right... Still need to try it underwater but it did great with getting water on it and sand...
