Backyard Digging

With the weather warming up, we have started work on the backyard. Here are pictures of just starting the job, we had already taken out the dog fence and started digging the laundry pole.

 We are discovering that the laundry pole is really deep, we are going to have to think of another way to get this thing out. The hole is already 2 feet deep and the pole is still going strong.

 We sold the shed because we plan on putting a patio there.

 The backyard has piles of dirty and is very uneven everywhere. We have lots of leveling and lots of rock removal to do.

 There is also clumps of cement in different places that need to come up.

 Here is what the side next to the garage looks like currently. Lots of brick and another thing of cement (I would love to see what that was used for)

 This whole area had lots of brick.

 Here is our pile of bricks, question is what to do with them.

We are making progress and need to hurry so we can have it done to plant grass before May. Wish us luck getting the laundry poles out.
