Our First Home

We started out the first of the year buying our first home. After looking at house after house, my husband finally found this home. I did not see the home until our inspection and I think he did a great job. The house needs work but in our price range everything needed work.

 

On our wish list we wanted:

3 Bedroom 1 Bath

Some yard

Great location

Brick Home

 

Our home has all that plus some:

2 Car Garage

4 Bedroom 2 Baths

Central Air

Fenced in back yard

New upstairs bath and carpet

Our home was build in 1953 with about 1830 sq ft on a corner lot.

One day we will remove the wall and have an open floor plan.

Like I said before we want to open up to living room and then add more cabinets.



Downstairs- Needs a lot of work. We need to frame/insulate all the rooms. Make windows to code and give more light. Then put in new flooring.

Move water heater and redo everything:)

Currently Laundry Room:

We hope that we can move the laundry into another room and make this a bedroom.

We want to make this a living/play room. We do need to add a door because that closet is right under the stair outside and it gets really cold in winter.

Currently Room:

We want to make this a bedroom just need to add a closet.

Currently Storage Room:

We want to move laundry here and water heater. Then add shelving for storage.

We are so excited to have our first place and want to share our DYI projects with you. I am now back to painting!!
