It's that time of Year!

I know, I normally post on Monday but it's that time of year when crazy is my word. We have been crazy over here trying to get ready for everything... (Christmas & Baby). But we did get a Christmas tree. 

 Kids are really excited about Christmas this year! Don't mind my daughters pj's, she will not wear her newer ones without holes and we have to put a shirt over my sons pj's or he will take them off then he gets cold. I have some funny kids!  

And we did get our lights on the house, just in time because it snowed that night. 

And because it is winter in Utah, we are finding that somethings in our house need to be winterized a little bit better. Like the door maybe needs some new weather stripping (yes, that is on the inside of the house). 

The windows downstairs are a little drafty. Also, the cold room downstairs (its a small room/closet under the front porch) needs a vent to the outside (water condensates on the ceiling because of the hot/cold air) but an outside door needs to be installed first (to help keep the cold air out of the house). This is what we are doing right now to keep some of the cold air out of the house.

Sometimes I wonder what we are doing owning a home because it is hard work and there is always something that needs to be fixed. But I love it... and that is what keeps me going. If only I had the money to fix everything I wanted to fix right now. One day all of our projects will get completed but until then one thing at a time...
