Progress: Kitchen

Today, lets look at the progress in our kitchen.

Here are the pictures of the kitchen the day that we received the keys. 

Sorry toys and finger in the way. And more brown walls...

Here is a picture of the hall looking into the kitchen now.

All of our stuff moved in.

Whats New:

Fringe (old one stopped working within the first month of living here)

Paint- Behr in Frosted Lemon

New windows (but the old inside ones are still there, one day they will go away)

Door Gone (took it down to paint trim and we liked it better without, more open)

We were going to update cabinets and add new countertop but we had to buy new fringe and little man had a emergency visit to the hospital. Do not worry he if all better now, just had to reattach a finger. 

Things to DO:

-Add dishwasher (that is in our garage from the day we moved in)

-New Plumbing (leaks a little)

-Frame windows

-Refinish Cabinets (One day project, need to save $$)

-New Sink and Faucet 

-New Counter-top

-New Lighting

-Add microwave above Stove 

-New Stove (only when this one stops)

-Figure out some pantry idea

-New light switches (Some are off-white and others are black)

-New Blinds

-Decorate  

That is the list for now but we will see if it changes. We wanted to remove the wall but I do not think we will do that. We are tried to decided what would increase the value of our home vs. cost for remodel. And right now basement would add the most value.
